Satchels Pizza Grant Program

Grant Guidelines

  • Two grants per quarter will be awarded for up to $500 each.
  • Grant applications for January will be accepted up to December 31. Grant recipients will be notified on or before January 15.
  • Grant applications for Apri will be accepted up to March 31. Grant recipients will be notified on or before April 15.
  • Grant applications for July will be accepted up to June 30. Grant recipients will be notified on or before July 15.
  • Grant applications for October will be accepted up to September 30. Grant recipients will be notified on or before October 15.
  • Organizations that are not awarded a grant will be notified and can reapply during the next quarter.
  • Grants will not be awarded to an organization more than once per year.
  • We would like grant winners to follow up on their progress after the grant has been used by making a menu-back using an 8.5 by 14 sheet of paper with info and/or photos about a specific project or their organization.

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Organization is located in Alachua County.
  • Organization provides charitable or educational services that benefit the community.
  • Organization is a non-profit entity with IRS 501 (c) (3) status.

Apply using your own paper or Non-profit letterhead and make sure we have all of the following information. If you leave information out, it may weaken your chance for selection.

Please provide the following:

  • Name of Organization
  • Non-profit Tax ID Number
  • Address of Organization
  • Phone Number
  • E-mail address
  • Contact Person
  • A statement of need in which you explain how you will use these funds to benefit your organization and our community.
  • A budget in which you explain how much money you are requesting and where you will use the funds.
  • Information on how you hope to measure the achievement made to your organization through the help of this grant.

*Feel free to provide us with photos/video or any helpful information that will help us in assessing your need, commitment and inspiration.
